  2. What’s the GPON GPON is a point-to-multipoint access mechanism. Its main characteristic is the use of passive splitters in the fiber distribution network, enabling one single feeding fiber from the provider's central office to serve multiple homes and small businesses.

Huawei GPON products • 1 OLT product: • Muiti –service OLT, mainly for overseas include MA5600T, MA5603T, MA5606T (stop production, replacement is MA5608T), MA5608T The Pure OLT, MA5680T, MA5683T • 2 The client MDU ONT MDU: MA5620, MA5626, MA5612, MA5616 ONT: HG8010, HG8240, HG8245, HG8247 • 3 Optical splitter, ODF, jumper and so on.

The obvious difference between the GPON products The difference is the power panel • MA5680T, MA5683T, MA5600T, MA5603T power supply only support DC (note that some small customers only hace AC input, so they need to buy inverter, change AC into -48V DC) • MA5608T power supply supports AC and DC, according to customer needs to choose.
