  2. JB Executive 2009 • Brittany Bernard- JBDC (Victoria) • Julia Sheldon- ICC (Ottawa) • Caitlyn Wood- ECC (Calgary) • James Young- National Camp (St. Grégoire) • Keenan Dixon- Jr. NJR (Toronto) • Kalenne Thors- Sr. NJR (Victoria)

  3. JBDC Update • Projects from the JBDC this year included: • School Presentation templates • JB Board Contract template • Gamebook updates The committee was headed by Brittany Bernard and included: Sarah Sauve (Halifax), Patrick Morin (Saskatoon) and Matt Hammer (Calgary)

  4. JBDC Update • The committee was met with challenges as communication stalled with local Junior Branches and JB Chairs. • Lack of chapter input made it difficult for the committee to focus their efforts on specific challenges chapter were facing. • The committee also lost several members over the course of the year, often with little notice or follow up.

  5. The Comm Team had a successful year that saw the publication of three bilingual Canuck newsletters and a good working relationship between Julia and Caitlyn. Like the JBDC, they were often frustrated by the difficulty of communication with JB chair and local juniors. Some chapters contributed on time for Canucks and were prompt in email responses while others were almost silent the whole year. Communications Team Update

  7. National Programmes The NJRs attend several programmes throughout the year: • NBM • Spring Board Training Forum • National Camp • ARMM/ IJBC/AIM

  8. Spring Board Training Forum (SBTF) • Hosted over the May Long Weekend in Toronto • 15 participants from 6 chapters • Lots of excitement and leadership development exhibited. We have great JB Chairs!!

  9. National Camp • Held the 3rd weekend of August in Trois Rivières • 41 participants from 11 chapters • All the participants had a wonderful time, planned exceptional activities and made friends from across Canada

  12. ARMM • America’s Regional Members Meeting • Junior equivalent of ARC. Provides training and support to NJRs of American NAs and other attendees • Held at Lake Atitlan prior to IJBC and AIM

  13. IJBC • International Junior Branch Conference and Annual International Meeting • IJBC is a workshop and conference for NJRs from all NAs and Pas • It is run by the IJRs and IJB committee

  14. AIM • Annual International Meeting for the international adult board • Juniors attend as observers and have time to work on ongoing and upcoming projects
