College Prep Timeline 11th Grade Sign up and study for PSAT Begin exploring & researching colleges Take ACT March 18 at VHS Fall Spring Summer Prepare for College Admissions exams-SAT and/or ACT • Register and study for SAT if preferred • Study for ACT (test at VHS in March) • Visit colleges • Retake ACT & SAT as needed

  7. Community College Programs • A.A. Degree 2 + 2 program • Transferable in whole to university • A.S. Two year, Career Education program • Check with community college for transfer agreement with local university • Technical/Vocational Certificate program • Career training and certification

  8. Dual Enrollment If a student earns the 36-hour general education block of credit, these credits will be accepted in total by any Florida public university and no further courses will be required to meet the general education component EFSCUniversity
