ABOUT GRIPS • Established in 1997 by the Japanese government • Superseded Graduate School of Policy Science (GSPS) at Saitama University, the first graduate school for Policy Studies in Japan • Aims to educate future leaders in the policy arena • Majority of students work for ministries or government-related offices
GRIPS FEATURES • Main disciplines: Economics, Political Science International Relations, Civil Engineering • 8 international programs • 5 domestic programs and, • 6 Ph.D. programs • Disciplines and programs are intertwined • All International Programs taught in English
