What is Ethnicity? • Ethnicity is defined as an ethnic quality or affiliation resulting from racial or cultural ties. • Associated with or belonging to a particular race or group of people who have a culture that is different from the main culture of a country

What Is a Racial Stereotype? • A racial stereotype is defined as a fixed, over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people.
Effects of Racism • The effects of racism include: hatred, cruelty, low self esteem, fear, psychological pain and destruction of community cohesion. Racism is the discrimination or hatred directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief. It is illegal to practice racism anywhere around the world.
