INTRODUCTION This time of your life I want u to be an Engineer to build your own house but before that you must have your own constructor to help you in building your house. Thepurpose of this activity is for you to be able to find the area and perimeter of polygon which serves to be important in real life situations
TASK For this activity, you will view presentation(s) and videos on how to find the area and perimeter of polygons. You will use this information to solve problems which you may find interesting. 1. You will view a PowerPoint presentation on finding area and perimeter. 2. A site will be provided which you should visit and actively participate in the activity provided. 3. You will view a video demonstrating how to find area and perimeter of polygon. 4. You should then visit links to sites where you are required to complete worksheets provided.
PROCESS Step 1. Visit the PowerPoint and go through the entire presentation. Area and Perimeter powerpoint. Step2. View this video to make you understand more about the area and perimeter. Area and Perimeter Video. Step3. Try the activity that I have prepared for you to learn more.
You must help one another to answer that activity. Work by group.

You have c WebQuest!!! Now that you have learned a new concept, I hope you will appreciate the usefulness of finding the area and perimeter of such polygon. Now you see that math is fun, interesting and exciting. We have an open discussion to clear up any misconceptions and also to recap on what was learned using this WebQuest. The activity that you have handed in will not only give me a chance to see how much you have understood or grasped from the lesson but it will also be used to build up your portfolio. Remember math is fun, just have a good attitude towards it and in return it will be good to you. It will help you to be explorative and discover.
