El Verbo “IR”. Do you remember what the verb “ ir ” means? We used it back in Unit 3A to express something we were going to do in the near future: Yo voy a estudiar esta noche . (compound verb) We are now going to use it to state WHERE we are going. Yo voy a escuela . (single verb).

  2. When IR is followed by a verb, it expresses future plans. • When IR is followed by a noun, it expresses destination
