  2. Is Wind Energy Renewable or not? • Wind energy is renewable because we will always have the wind. Wind never runs out like fossil fuels which take hundreds or even thousands of years to rejuvenate.

  3. How Does Wind Energy work? • The wind blows therefore turning the propellers. The propellers help turn a shaft. Because the shaft turns, it powers the generator therefore creating electricity.

  4. Advantages • Doesn’t contribute to global warming. • No acid rain. • Cheap to maintain. • Tourist attraction.

  5. Disadvantages • Kills migratory birds. • Wind is unreliable. • Unsightly. • Wrecks TV reception.
