3RD DEGREE TREATMENT • STOP THE BURNING • DO NOT REMOVE THE BURNED CLOTHING • 911 • MONITOR THE PERSON
CHEMICAL BURNS • CARE • REMOVE THE CLOTHING • FLUSH THE SKIN (15 MINUTES) • CALL 911 OR Dr. ON HOW TO TREAT • If the Chemical is in the eye FLUSH immediately. The eye that has the chemical is down.

Animal bites • Major concern is bleeding and infection • What 2 shot will you need? Tetanus shot and rabies • Control bleeding • Wash with soap and water • Cover the wound • Seek med help
Drowning • How many die each year? • 5000 • Throw before you go or reach with a object. • Tubs are bad places…2 inches • CPR if necessary call 911
