  2. There was a huge banyan tree.Many birds lived on the tree.

  3. There was a large snake that lived in the tree too. He used to eat up the eggs of the birds.

  4. The birds were very angry, “We must make a friend who can kill the snake,” they said. So they made friends with a jackal.

  5. The jackal came and killed the snake. The birds were very happy so they called him to dinner.

  6.  The jackal came and ate up all the birds.
