INTRODUCTION • My name is Joe Davis and I am 51 years old. • Married to Heather my wife of 24 years, 2 boys, Joshua 18 and Jeremy 15 • I work for Triton Pacific Capital Partners (TPCP) • TPCP is a private equity firm we invest private capital in private companies on behalf of our investors • My role at TPCP is Managing Partner leading our healthcare investment strategy • My role is to find great companies to make investments in, partner with the management team and monitor closely for success

  3. The Early Years… I was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Orange County, CA (I never ventured far)

  4. More Early Years… A little about my family… I grew up with 2 brothers Shawn (48) and Erik (42) we remain very close today. Growing up, we had a very close family, 4 generations under one roof until age 5, my parents are married 55 years.

  5. HIGH SCHOOL • I attended El Modena High School in Orange, CA • As a HS student I was involved in playing football and running track • As a HS student I was both athletic and academic \

  6. HIGH SCHOOL Things I enjoyed in HS Things I did not enjoy in HS Sports School Friends Family I loved it all!

HIGH SCHOOL Activities/Athletics in HS Jobs I worked while in HS I played football and ran track My senior year led our football team to the D2 CIF championship game and played at Anaheim Stadium (we lost ) I was very fast, in the 100 (yards) my best time was 9.8 seconds Summer Jobs Always Vons Box Boy part time

  8. HIGH SCHOOL Fondest memories from HS Obstacles/Adversity you had to overcome in HS Friendships I built Fun, Fun, Fun Senior football season tough, had transfer QB come in after waiting 3 years for the job Transfer started first 2 games did not do well, I was on verge of quitting, stuck it out

  9. College or Graduate School Activities/Athletics in College Jobs I worked while in College I attended UCI in Irvine, CA Intramural Sports Fraternity Started first company Grew to 50 employees and several million in annual revenue by senior year Got tasted of being entrepreneur and making money

  10. College or Graduate School Favorite classes Least favorite classes Tough Question, Bio Major Should have switched majors but did not stayed with it Area of immunology was very interesting True favorite class was the business I started that was maybe my greatest education Most of my major!

Career Some challenges I had to overcome in my career Losing control of a company and being on verge of personal bankruptcy Learning how to manage people in a fast growing business Making poor decisions on CEOs to back as an investor Adversity is true test of a person and how you deal with adversity makes you a stronger person
