  3. Haitian Obsticles • it is continually aggravated by: • over-population • soil-erosion • pollution • drought • famine • political corruption • Voodoo still has a firm grip on Haiti.

  4. Labour • 70% unemployment • Most of the workforce have farm related jobs. • Or they work in markets.

  5. Church Growth • Steady growth of Protestant Churches is cause for praise. • There is a need for godly leaders. • Christian Reformed World Missions entered into Haiti in 1986.

  6. Our Missionaries • Please pray for Tony and Mary Dekoter, our missionaries in Haiti. • Tony continues to teach at Quisqueya Christian School in Port-au-Prince. • Mary is the school nurse and volunteers in the community

  7. Prayer for Haiti • Just this week, Haiti was struck with a devastating earthquake. • Please pray for those in Haiti, the current situation and the servants who live and work there.
