Super Monday and Wednesday • Similar senior timetables between both High Schools. • Increased ability to run subjects previously not available. • Greater ability for students and teachers combine skills and resources. • Enhanced opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities. • Creation of time for Assessment Task preparation and access to school resources. • Greater flexibility within timetables structure to cater for senior students.

  10. ATAR Australian Tertiary Admission Rank The ATAR allows the comparison of students who have completed different combinations of HSC courses. The ATAR is calculated solely for use by universities, either on its own or in conjunction with other selection criteria, to rank and select school leavers for admission to tertiary courses. SBATs School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships School based apprenticeships and traineeships provide students with the opportunity to attain a nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification as well as their Higher School Certificate (HSC) and gain valuable work skills and experience through paid employment. SBATs will be ‘on the job’ for approximately one day each week (or equivalent to 100+ days over Years 11 and 12) depending on the trade. http://www.sbatinnsw.info/
