BCM Crediting & Transfer of Feature Entitlements – Description • This feature allows customers to move software feature entitlements from one BCM system to another BCM system within a group of BCM’s owned by a given end customer. • For end customers, this provides flexibility in the deployment of BCM software features and allows customers to manage their investment in BCM software to best meet their changing needs. • The transfer of feature entitlements is not done directly from one system to another – instead it is done through the use of a feature entitlement inventory pool, registered to the ownership of the end-customer, and used as an intermediate repository for the feature entitlements that were credited (or removed) from any given system owned by that customer.
BCM Customer Feature Entitlement Pool – Registration • End customers request the creation of a “BCM Customer Feature Entitlement Inventory Pool” by working with their Partner • This service is sold by Avaya through Partners • The Partner completes the "BCM Customer Feature Entitlement Pool Registration” form by working with their end customer and submits the signed form to Avaya • Partner identifies who they want to be KRS Admins in order to manage the Feature Entitlement Transfers • The Customer purchases an “Entitlement Pool" service for 2 or 10 systems at a time • All systems in a pool must be a minimum of 5.0, and may be on different releases • Separate pools are required for BCM50 & BCM450 • A minimum of 3 working days should be allocated to set up a Pool
