Duality in Mexico’s Economy Mexico has extreme contrasts, such as: 115,000,000 population (31 States and 1 Federal District) 12th Economy of the world ($1.7 trillion dollars GDP) The agricultural sector 3.7% of GDP and 13.4% of Employment Third country exporting to the US ($210 billion dollars) Trade agreements with over 44 countries 11.7 million people in poverty

Public-PrivatePartnershipProjects National Crusade against Hunger President Pena Nieto invited all relevant players of society to participate in the National Crusade against Hunger National Food Banks Association (64 Banks in 29 States out of 32) • Increase current capacity of Food Banks in Mexico • Implement a National Logistic System to improve distribution of fruit and vegetables regions • Direct economic funds for food rescue within the field

Public-PrivatePartnershipProjects Agribusiness Studies Currently in Mexico food losses ascend to 37% of total production Taking into account the best practices and experience of Holland which became the 4th exporter of the sector with only X% of productive land Ministry of Agriculture develops a strategic map of infrastructure projects that allow Mexico transport efficiently products within the country and abroad (most importantly Asia-Pacific Region, participant of the Pacific Alliance and TPP)
