  1. Group 3 Brewing Temperature Controller

Goals: • Design a functioning temperature controller. • Ensure that assembly cost is below that of Johnson Digital Temperature Controller. • The temperature controller must be compatible with existing heating and cooling equipment. • Must have overload protection. • The cord of the temperature probe should be of sufficient length to reach a fermenting vessel up to 10 feet away.

  3. Specifications: • The temperature controller must be compatible with existing heating and cooling equipment. • Operating range must be between 35°F and 75°F. • Must regulate temperature within 5% of set-point.

  4. Work Completed Thus Far: • Decided on specifications for overall project. • Have designed and are now in he process of testing circuit. (Via Multisim) • Components to be used have been selected for the moment, unless testing proves otherwise.
