How to Use This • To know what adjective ending you are supposed to use at a certain time, just click on the article that is present and what gender and case it is in, and this will give you what adjective ending you should use. • If the actual article is not in any of the charts, then think about if it is a “der” word or an “ein” word and what gender/ case it is in.
How to Use This (Cont.) • To go back to the table that you were on after going to an adjective ending, click the button at the bottom of the slide that looks like a page, then select the “last viewed” option.
How to Use The Third Chart • The third chart is just for words in a sentence with no article. • All that you have to do is know the gender and case of your noun, then go and find the result on the chart. • Whatever is listed will be your adjective endings.
-e • The adjective ending that you need is “-e” • This applies to the articles of: • der- masculine, nominative • die- feminine, nominative and accusative • das- neutral, nominative and accusative • eine- feminine, nominative and accusative • no article- feminine, nominative and accusative • no article- plural, nominative and accusative
-en • The adjective ending that you need is “-en” • This ending applies to the articles of: • die- plural, nominative and accusative • den- masculine, accusative; plural, dative • dem- masculine and neutral, dative • der- feminine, dative and genitive; plural, genitive • des- masculine and neutral, genitive • keine- plural, nominative and accusative • einen- masculine, accusative • einem- masculine and neutral, dative • einer- feminine, dative and genitive • keinen- plural, dative • eines- masculine and neutral, genitive • keiner- plural, genitive • no article- masculine, accusative; plural, dative; masculine and neutral, genitive
