IDB Project work steps • Develop a pilot IDB for Butler County stakeholders. • Test IDB on five (5) major Butler County development projects. • Review project testing results and gain stakeholder feedback. • Prepare strategy with stakeholders for implementing the IDB approach in Butler County. • Assess pros and cons of IDB approach and determine feasibility. • Share results with Butler County stakeholders, State of Ohio, and other interested parties (including County Commissioners Association of Ohio [CCAO]). • Prepare final project report and deliver to Butler County stakeholders and State of Ohio LGIF.

Top idb focus areasFrom 12-11-12 Meeting • Strong Interest by Group: • Transportation Improvement District (TID) projects and other physical infrastructure to support development. • Technology (fiber/broadband). • Workforce development investments (all types) • Land bank (perhaps) • Good Interest in by Group in Improving ROI on Existing ECD programs: • By all entities (County, Port, cities, villages, townships, workforce agencies, higher education workforce initiatives, use of state and Federal funds, community foundation dollars, others) • Limited to No Support: • New shared funding pools (Unless the objections and problems can be overcome)
