If there any shortcomings found, Master shall immediately report to the Fleet Manager. 1.27 Revalidation of Certificates Officer and Ratings shall ensure that their certificate remain valid throughout their duties. They also ensure that the original certificate is in their possession when joining a ship.
Section 2 - Payment of Salaries and Travel Expenses 2.01 Payment of Salaries Salaries based on departure from Jakarta until arrival back in Jakarta To be paid by Master on board after deduct with allotment 2.02 Allotments 2.03 Travel Expenses Travel expenses for joining/leaving from and to Jakarta to be paid by the Company.
Section 3 - Relieves and Crew Lists 3.01 Relieves Relieving schedules for each managed ship are maintained by the HR & GA Department. Early relive or extension tour of duty, the Master shall complete the Personnel Request - MP 16 and send to Fleet Manager. 3.02 Confirmation of Relieves The Master shall confirm that the relieves has been safety completed as intended departure message. 3.03 Crew Lists Master shall submit an updated crew list to the Fleet Manager monthly
3.04 Next of Kin The HR & GA Dept. shall maintain an up to date record of next of kin for each seafarer. The seafarer shall give the information to the HR & GA Dept., if there are any changes in the details of their next of kin.
Section 4 - Performance Appraisal Report 4.01 General The Master shall be responsible for ensuring that appraisal report are completed for all seafarer under his command and forward to the Fleet manager 4.02 Appraisal of Officers Appraisal Report shall be completed every four months - on the 15th. January, May and September Officer Appraisal Report Master & C/E Appraisal Report 4.03 Appraisal of Cadet Master and Chief Engineer shall carry out the appraisal for cadet with the same procedures as per 4.02
4.04 Appraisal of Rating Appraisal of all ratings shall be carried out on completion of their period of service on board Rating Appraisal Report 4.05 Training Needs 4.06 Completion of Appraisal Reports As per Company Forms
Section 5 - Shipboard Training Procedures 5.01 Safety Management System The Master shall instruct and guide the seafarer to follow the Safety Management System. The Master in consultation with the Department head to identify and carry out the training onboard. 5.02 Orientation Training New Joined personnel shall carry out Orientation Training and completed Level 1 - for all personnel Level 2 - for all seafarer Level 3 - for Officer only 5.03 Service and Training Record Books Service and Training Record Book
5.04 Cadet Training Record Books Cadet Training Record Book. The C/O and 2nd/E shall be responsible for organizing the day to day training of Navigating Cadets and Engineer Cadets respectively and for ensuring that the required records are made in the Cadet Training Record Book 5.05 English Language Training 5.06 Studying for Superior Qualifications The Master and Chief Engineer shall encourage Junior Officers to study for superior qualifications while they are on board and shall provide all support and guidance possible in order that the motivation to learn is maintained.
