Recap The Global Infrasound Archive (GINA) is an initiative to provide a freely-available academic resource comprising event-based infrasound data provided by station operators.
Summary Global Infrasound Archive (GINA) Data Requesting is now available for testing at: http://www.seismo.nrcan.gc.ca/nwfa/gina/index_e.php It is populated mostly with events from the CD issued after the Kona workshop, with the CSS files repaired, corrected and standardized. Filenames are changed to use a common convention.
Output Options • Data is stored internally as CSS3.0 but converted on-the-fly per user choice to: • CSS 3.0 • GSE 2.0: uncompressed integer • integer format: each channel trace is saved as a text file comprising a short header and a list of integer sample values • SAC • info: information for each trace taken from the CSS 3.0 wfdisc file along with information about the event. • jpeg / png image: traces as a PNG or JPEG image
Feedback Please play with it, try to break it, and send feedback to: gina@seismo.nrcan.gc.ca or come and criticize it in person at the Fall AGU Union Session….. WE NEED YOUR COMMENTS!
