Over the last couple of years and the growth of Attraction Marketing, I'm sure you have heard someone tell you that the key to success today is to get you visitors, your subscribers, your leads to know like & trust you. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
I'm no different. I kept hearing that the key to success in 2013 is to get my subscribers, my visitors to know like & trust me before they will buy from me or join me in any opportunity. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
At first I was a bit sceptical. I've been online for a couple of years, built email lists of over 10,000 people and been a reasonably successful affiliate marketer. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
I decided to have a really detailed, critical hard look at my business and compare some stats from the last few weeks against results I was getting 1 year and 2 years ago. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
What I found SHOCKED ME! • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
My list growth was slowing every month, my optin percentages from my squeeze pages (optin percentage = number of people who subscribe to my list divided by total number of visitors to my squeeze page) was dropping every single month! • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
The number and percentage of people who were opening my emails was dropping every month! • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
Worse still was the fact that my actual click through rates (CTR) which is how many people are actually clicking n the links in my emails was dropping and dropping rapidly! • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
If people aren't clicking your links, they aren't buying and if they aren't buying - you are not making money - simple. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
It seemed that people over time had become immune to the daily emails promoting this new product, that new product, this training today, this training tomorrow. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
Please understand that I was running my business this way. At least daily emails and sometimes 2 or 3 a day promoting offer after offer after offer! • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
This analysis of my business really got me thinking.....and then it happened, a massive Ahhhh moment. That light bulb went off and bells started ringing. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
Of course people had switched off to this constant barrage of promotion. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
I knew that my subscribers had switched off and become immune to my message because that's exactly what I had done to the emails I was getting from others!. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
Just think for a moment, how many emails do you get every day, 5, 10 ,20, 50 more???? . • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
How many do you actually read? Not many I bet. Probably ones from people you feel you have built a relationship with, the ones where the sender has provided something of value to you previously and maybe an occasional one with a catchy subject line . • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
So I decided that there really was something to this move to Attraction Marketing and this know like & trust that I keep hearing about because the old style email marketing is like the dinosaurs - slowly dying and soon to be extinct.. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
So I started spending hours and hours scrolling through Google researching Attraction Marketing and Know Like & Trust. . • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
I mean, I knew nothing about either of these so I had a lot of learning to fill my knowledge gap before I could implement this into my business.. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
After weeks and weeks there were a few posts and videos that really worked for me. Information written by experienced, established marketers with track records and success that I was jealous of.. • www.IanKnabelOnline.com
