  8. CIRCUIT DESIGN • The DP, Pillar, Vertical and NE details of a particular number are available. • The circuit status can be viewed i.e Inservice,Cancelled etc • The Inservice date i.e Activation date can also be viewed

NETWORK ELEMENTS • The NE ports of a particular switch are available here. • The port status can also be viewed. • If a telephone number is mapped against any port then it indicates that the port is allotted to that number in the circuit design. • If no number is mapped against the port then it indicates that it’s a free port. • The status of a port by default will be ‘Active’(From the time of creation).If any of the ports is physically damaged then that port can be blocked by the JTO just by marking the status as ‘Bad port’.

FRAMES • In this screen the DP,Pillar,MDF can be queried . • New pillar,DP,MDF can also be created here. • The ports statuses and their mapped telephone numbers can also be viewed(frame appearances) and edited. • Inorder to edit double click on the telephone number against the port then you will be navigated to the circuit design screen where the existing port can be deleted and a new port can be assigned.

  19. NUMBERS • The status of a number can be viewed here. • Frequently encountered number statuses are Allocated,Reserved,Quarantined,Not conditioned,Blocked for centrex.

SERVICES QUERY • The services query can be used only to query the working number details. • The activation date can be viewed here. • The Attributes i.e pillar,vertical,BB details are available. • The statuses of features i.e STD,ISD,outgoing bar,incoming bar etc can also be viewed here. • The Address is also available. • Note: SERVICES QUERY screen cannot be viewed if the Java update is greater than the version “5 update 11”.

INBOX • In the Inbox the work orders under a particular work group can be seen if the field work group is filled with that particular Work group. • If the field work group is filled with “All work groups” then all the work orders under all the work groups which are mapped to the employee will be visible. • In the Inbox tasks screen the tasks all the tasks will be visible as the radio button ‘All’ is set by default. Inorder to view only actionable select the radio button Actionable.

  27. SERVICE ORDERS • This is the screen where the tasks,work orders and their timings associated with a particular order can be seen. • To see the customer contact number double click on the field cust contact.

  30. PILLAR WORK GROUP ASSOCIATION • This is the screen where the lineman codes under a JTO code can be viewed. • The pillars mapped to the lineman code can also be viewed. • The pillars mapping can be edited by the JTO.

  32. LOCALITY SUB LOCALITY MAPPING • The sub localities under a main locality are available here. • The JTO code mapped to a sub locality can also be viewed if the cursor is placed on a sub locality.

  34. MSO DEATAILS • MSO stands for MAJOR SERVICE OUTAGE. • MSO is booked to block the multiple fault booking (mostly encountered during cable faults).
