HYPONYMY • Is a term which refers to a word whose referents is included in the referent of more general word called the superordinate for example : • Rose is a hyponymy of Flower . • Hence, we can interpret flower is more common than rose .
SUPERORDINATE • Refers to general sense whose is the same counter or word . • e. g collie , dog • Dog is the word which gives general meaning and frequently found in spoken and written language . • In brief, hyponymy and superordinate are just to show the words which are more general than others but synonyms express the meaning between two different form of words with the similar function .
