  1. Greek Mythology Background • Please read pages 646-647 in the textbook, as well as taking a few a minutes to study the map on pages 648-649. • Add the “Six Purposes for Myths” into your Google Drive notes so that you can reference them in the future. • When you are done, select THREE of the gods/goddesses (see the chart on page 647) for you to do a little Wikipedia search.

  2. Mythology WebQuest • You will add your interesting facts to some sort of “shareable,” whether it is a chart in Pages, a Keynote presentation, etc. • This is what you should include in your search and “shareable”: • Myths/stories s/he appears in • Brief “life” story (born, known for, etc.) • 5 other interesting facts about him/her • We will be sharing these with your peers to give them some background knowledge before we start reading our myths! • Also, Ms. Furness will be checking to see how much you completed when she returns tomorrow!
