Triangle Zipper Tote Supplies • 9” zipper • Top - 2 Rectangles of fabric to finish 10” X 9” • Lining 2 Rectangles of fabric to finish 10” X 9” • Strap • Either lightweight batting or 2 sided fusible • Thread Note: If you are adding quilting to your tote, I recommend cutting the rectanles 1” larger all the way around and then cut down to size after quilting Or use your imagination and use any shape and method you desire to create a bag, tote, change purse……... Step 1 – prepare your rectangles by doing one of the following options Option 1- making a quilt sandwich, adding your stitch and cut to size Option 2 – Make a sandwich by pressing top and lining together and cut to size.

Step 2 • Add fabric tabs to the end of the zipper- • These can be self fabric or contrast • Step 3 • Center the zipper edge to the fabric (right side up) with Zipper (right side down) • Use 3/8” Seam Allowance • Repeat on other side After stitching both sides it will look like this - I left a bigger gap to show the zipper tape • Step 4 • Sew 2 sides using 3/8” Seam allowance • Step 5 • To make triangle shape, fold the last side with seams matched • Place strap to face side and Sew strap to seam allowance • Close the last side across seam with straps pushed to face size of tote using 3/8” Seam Allowance • Step 6 • Turn bag through zipper, push out corners, press seams

Dress Form Sachet • Step 1 • Using the pattern provided: • cut out 1 top and one bottom – the can be, but do not have to be the same fabric • Optional – Add a layer of batting and a backing and add quilting to either top or bottom or both • Optional – sew ribbon to waist area on front before next step • Step 2 • Put face sides together and starting at neck edge sew around shape to opposite neck edge using 3/8” Seam Allowance - Leave the neck open • Step 3 • Pull the face side through the neck opening to turn right side out • Step 4 • Pull out your corners and press seams and press seam allowance at neck edge under • Optional - attach lace or fabric to hem before adding filling • Step 5 • Fill dress form sachet with dried flowers – I use lavender bought in bulk online • Step 7 • Fold in seam allowance, Insert a 4” on fold loop of fabric or ribbon into neck opening, and stitch across the top to close • Optional – add a bow or buttons as decoration Or use your imagination and use any shape and method you desire to create sachets. Note: Be creative and enjoy

Dish Drying Matt Cut size of rectangle 30 ¾” X 20 ¾” Finished size after sewing 30” X 20” • Step 1 - Front drying side • Use either a purchased dish towel or buy terry cloth and cut to size • Add decorative stitch, fabric, or applique • Step 2 - Back decorative side • Cut one ply fabric, one ply batting, one ply backing • Quilt through the all layers in any pattern you desire • Add decorative stitch, fabric or applique • Step 3 - Finish • Put face sides together and sew around leaving 5”-6” opening to turn through • Press edges and seam allowance on opening • Add ¼” topstitch around and use this to close the opening Be creative and enjoy

Printed Flour Sac Dish Towels • Purchase Flour Sac Dish Towels – These are very large, wash wonderfully and are super absorbent. • There is a big difference in feel, from one brand to another, use what you prefer • Stencil, Stamp, Print, Paint, Embroider, Dye to add decorative details to the blank dish towel. • Note : Vegetables and fruits make wonderful stamps • Be creative and enjoy • I used to make the dish drying matts, print or stitch towels to match and sell as a set
