Finance overview – kathrynascher • The support of our Parishis vital to our School • Tuition dollars are allocated to the School from the Parish budget • Fundraising dollars are dispersed via the School Committee Budget • Tuition dollars cover 65% of the regular School operating budget • Salaries and Benefits for Staff • Buildings & Grounds • Supplies • The remaining 35% of expenses are covered by the Parish School + Parish = One entity ~ Thank you ~

HOT SUMMER SLICE – fundraiser (KA) • Marquee Annual Fundraiser for the School • Chaired by Patrice Hofbauer & Mark Goyette • $75,000 is the MINIMUM amount needed to raise in order to maintain and keep the existing programs in place • Last year, St. Anthony on the Lake raised $106,000+ !! • Hot Summer Slice is working in conjunction with the Capital Campaign – where excess funds will help to furnish the Parish/School Expansion Save the Date! School endowment • Purpose: To support and assist the Parish in its Mission by providing supplemental funding of programs and services • Donated money is invested – where only Interest is used towards these programs and services • Our goal for the future is to be able to fully fund our Tuition Assistance needs
Technology - michelepawlak • iPad Program • 2012 Hot Summer Slice proceeds purchased: • iPads • Supplies to support the iPads • Investment in Infrastructure • iPad Program began Fall 2012 • Mrs. Sellers iPad PowerPoint presentation onwebsite Message Board
TECHNOLOGY – MICHELE PAWLAK • Reaching students at all levels of learning • Allowing students to explore further and learn faster than ever before to access information • Doors are being unlocked for reluctant and struggling learners • Increased opportunities for students who are ready to take their learning to the next level
iPadAPPLICATION IN THE CLASSROOM Students can capture work on video and camera – where it can be saved, revisited, and analyzed over the course of learning
iPad APPLICATION FOR COLLABORATION & FEEDBACK Allows for students to access information and work collaboratively Pertinent information is able to be shared with the entire group via email This immediate feedback enhances the learning experience Purposeful learning happens when students can collaborate and give feedback with each other
technology • Technology is ever-changing • We hope to continue to build upon the great strides we’ve made in Technology, as well as with the iPad Program for the future!
Athletics – kim burg • Athletics Program – Both Parish and School Families • Students in 5th – 8th grade • Some programs combine teams with area Parishes • 120 Athletes competed this Season • Padre Serra Basketball Tournament • Both 8th grade Boys and Girls teams were invited this year! • Boys went to the 1st round • Girls made it to the Elite 8 • Our 8th grade Girls basketball team went undefeated in their conference for all four years! The Athletics program, along with all other Extra-curricular activities, would not happen without our many volunteers… ~ We thank you! ~
