  2. Forced Induction System • Turbocharger • Turbo’s send compress air flow into the engine • More air in the cylinder will also increase fuel in the cylinder, thus giving more power from each explosion in each cylinder. • Typical boost provided is around 6 to 8 PSI, but then again you can boost higher around 10 or more.

  3. How Turbo Charger Works • Ambient Air goes into the compressor wheel • Then flows down to the Intercooler where it becomes Cold • Then flows into the engine cylinder • Turns into hot exhaust gas and goes into the turbine wheel • It was then released to exhaust and waste gate

  4. Most Powerful Turbocharger • Efficiency: 70% • Compact Construction • Outputs: 20,000 to 25,000 kW per turbocharger • For a 2-stroke engine • Low noise level • Compressor Ratio: 4.2

  5. Fastest Production Car • Bugatti Veyron 16.4 • 0-62: 2.5 Seconds • Top speed: 253 mph • Cost: 1.1 Million Euro • Veyron Engine • W16 Engine: 16 Cylinders • 4 Turbochargers • Power: 1001 HP (736 kW)

  6. Turbocharged Motorcycle • Turbocharged are mainly used for cars but can be put on motorcycles. • The constant noise you hear after each gear shift is because the waste gate is being opened and closed. • Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgQYChHNv9o
