Ⅰ.Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) Who we are • Non-profit, non-governmental association of 4-year universities • 201 members of 4-year university (2013) • Founded in 1982 1 2 Our Missions • We provide a service to support a development of Higher Education • system in Korea by • Promoting a mutual understanding between universities in Korea • Supporting education policies to increase autonomy, initiative, • accountability, and quality of universities

Ⅰ.Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) • Major Work • Project planning & budgeting • Assessment of project results • Coordination of General Assembly, Board of Trustees, and Chair meetings • National Assembly-related affairs • (extraordinary/regular sessions, parliamentary inspection) • Building of member university networks, information sharing • External cooperation & public relations • Management of website, information sharing

Ⅰ.Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) • Major Work • University Admissions Management and Planning • - Coordinate a framework for university admissions and its selection • Support for Admission Management System • Provide information of university admission criteria • Enhance the reliability and accountability in admission process • Ensure equal opportunities • Support for Admission Officers System • - Provide standard criteria of student selection • Specialize a role of Admission Officers • KCUE University Fair • Held twice each year to provide information of universities in Korea • Admissions Counseling Service • Provide an individual counseling for prospective students and their parents
