Question 1 - Answer • The correct answer is… • C. She • Sherry sat by the lake with Monica. • Sherry is a female name and is performing the action of sitting by the lake. That makes her the subject of the sentence. She needs to be replaced by a female subject pronoun!!!

Also, take out “Steve and” to see how it will sound. In the case of this type of sentence, always take out the other person besides “me”.
