This PowerPoint contains: • Slides 3 to 14: a presentation of 10 different fruits with flashcards and sound files and a recap of the vocabulary with sound files • Slides 15 to 36: a KIM’s game to practise the fruit vocabulary • Slides 37 to 38: a presentation of indefinite articles (un/ una) and activity to classify the fruit vocabulary into the relevant masculine or feminine columns • Slides 39 to 41: make predictions for each piece of fruit to indicate whether they should float or sink and record your predictions in a chart • Slides 42 to 46: introduce ¿Por qué (why)? and porque (because) to justify your predictions with some adjectives: pequeña (small), grande (big), ligera (light), pesada (heavy). It includes a recap of all the associated vocabulary with sound files • Slides 47 to 52: experiment and verify your predictions (plunging each fruit item into a bucket of water and recording the findings).
