  2. Commemorations: (n.) The act of honoring memory with a ceremony. Every year on June 25, America have commemorations for Michael Jackson in honoring of his death.

  3. Posthumous: (adj.) Occurring or continuing after ones death The posthumous award was given to the soldier's widow.

  4. Impertinent:(adj.) Rude The impertinent of the child got him a detention after school.

  5. Veritable:(adj.) Being called real or genuine It was a veritable miracle that I was able to finish the project on time.

  6. Elaborating:(adj.) To work out with care The students were elaborating together so they could get their work done.

  7. Inevitably:(adj.) Impossible to avoid Seeing Kim Kardashian cry was inevitably painful to her fans.

  8. Emblazoned: (v.) Conspicuously inscribe or display (a design) on something. My school was emblazoned with inspirational messages, to be hung in shared area.

  9. Monolithic:(adj.) Formed of a single large block of stone The monolithic columns supported the weight of the large monument.

  10. Circumscribed:(adj.) Restrict (something) within limits During lock down, the school was strictly monitored and circumscribed.

  11. Transcending:(v.) To pass beyond the limits The way she made him feel left him in a transcendent state of mind.

  12. Sired:(v.) A Father • Wiz Khalifa is the sired of his wife’s, Amber Rose, son.

  13. Coquette:(n.) A woman who teases sexual or romantic; a flirt The woman proved herself to be quite the coquette at the party as she charmingly giggled at all the men's jokes.

  14. Pious:(adj.) Having or exhibiting religious reverence During the sermon, the boy remained pious.
