RASM Overall Design • Couples atmophere, land, ocean, sea ice, land ice, and runoff models • Top level driver running on all processors controls sequencing • All communication between components through a central coupler • Single Executable with a top level driver calling init/run/finalize interfaces in component models • Models can be run sequentially or concurrently or mixed sequential/concurrent on hardware processors to tune performance
