What do gay and bisexual men conceptualize as Intimate Partner Violence?
Methods • Focus Group Discussions in Atlanta, GA • Seven FGDs (n=83) • Three Black/African-American, one White, one mixed • Questions surrounding what constituted partner violence, based off of the CTS • De-identified, transcribed, analyzed using MaxQDA
Methods • CASI Survey (n=1,074) • Venue-Based Sampling • >160 venues in sampling frame • Gay Pride, gay bookstores, gay bars, gay bathhouses, downtown areas, urban parks, etc. • August – December 2011 • 51% non-white, 51% college educated, 27% HIV+, 10% bisexual • Rotational Factor Analysis
