What dramatic skill is your best part in your performance? Why? • I think my Facial Expression is exceptionally well. It shows my character. • I think this because of the seriousness taken in my army sergeant Salute. And I also believe that my statement is obvious.
What dramatic skill have you worked on improving this term in drama? What specific things have you done to make improvements? • I have been trying to improve my Body Language. In my scene of the guards, I just wouldn’t stand “guard-ly”. I wasn’t sure where to put my hands. • I could have tried to put my hands behind my back so no one could see them.
What dramatic skill do you find the most difficult and why? • I (again) go with Body Expression on this one. It is real hard to know exactly where to put your hands and feet and how to show a certain action or emotion. E.G: It is real hard to act like a sergeant with your body other than saluting.
How has working to improve your dramatic skills affected your popularity in your group and the overall performance of the skit? • I wouldn’t say that my popularity in my group was affected, but my overall performance was affected critically. • From not knowing how to act my part, I turned into a moderate actor for a army sergeant. I was horrible at Voice Expression, but with the teachers suggestions with the dramatic skills, I improved to make it my best skill.
