This week’s lessons and research build towards an understanding that: ● Forces have magnitude and direction and can change the motion of an object. ● A force is a vector quantity having magnitude (strong, weak) and direction (upward, downward, forward, backward). ● Forces can be contact or noncontact. Gravity is a Non contact force that pulls objects towards Earth.
