  4. Meet The Advisory Team Our Advisory Well Wisher : Mr. Savanth B.S - An Advocate by profession and a Teacher by passion. He is the Dronacharya of our team. He has been the backbone and a hardcore believer in supporting our causes. He goes with the philosophy “ Always be a man of value, than a man of success ”, and we as your students are following the same footsteps. We are forever indebted to your support.

  5. Meet The Alpha Team Our Founding Well Wisher : Mr. Adithya A A - An individual, who believes in “Transcending Beyond Capabilities”. He has completed his B.Com, PGDHRM and MBA in CSR. Born and Raised in the city of Mysore. He is the deal maker of the team.

  6. Meet The Alpha Team Our Founding Well Wisher : Mr. Sandesh Kumar S- He is the person, who gets any job done, you name it and it is done. He too has completed his B.Com and MBA in CSR. He currently resides at Bangalore. His biggest strength is relationship building. He believes in always “Being Down To Earth”. You can call him the operational guru.

  7. Meet The Alpha Team Our Founding Well Wisher : Mr. GowrishBharadwaj B S : He is the Muscles of the Team. He loves the concept of creating impact and sustainability. He believes that “Everyone has a purpose”. He has completed his B.Com and has a Masters in Financial Management, it is safe for us to say, that the NGO is in good hands. He is the Financial Brain behind the NGO.

  8. The Story • Inspired by a kid and his needs for notebooks, The Alpha team started this NGO. The NGO today aims to serve for the welfare of children.

  9. The Logo Inspired by that incident the NGO was formed.

  10. The Pilot Project • St.Joseph’s State High School, Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore. • Collected about 350 Books from 8th & 9th Std students. • Tearing, Segregation & Compiling by the Alpha Team. 54 Sheets make a new book. • 51 New Rebound New Books Distributed to Royal English School Nazarbad.

The Lore Tree Initiative • The “ LORE TREE ” initiative was started, keeping in mind that Lakhs of trees are cut to make books for school students & Thousands of students do not have books to write. • The word Lore refers to knowledge passed from generation to generation orally. Objectives of “ LORE TREE ” Initiative: • To conserve trees. • To Reuse Unused Notebook sheets. • To give access to Govt. Schools, Orphanages & Rural community with rebound books. • To create Social Awareness and Responsibility.

  12. The Lore Tree Initiative The Process : • Organization Volunteers will collect the used notebooks, tear out the unused notebook sheets, rebind the unused sheets into new rebound notebooks and distribute to underprivileged children.

  15. The Lore Tree InitiativeTearing, Segregation & Compiling Fortune JP Palace, Mysore supported the Initiative by Tearing the sheets collected by schools. Rotract Club of Mysore East, Mysore supported the cause by assisting in the Segregation & Compiling of Notebooks.

  19. Our First Milestone • Collection of 5000+ Notebooks From Various Schools in Bangalore. • NPS Banshankri, The Highest Contributor with 3700 Notebooks. • Distribution of 252 Notebooks to Govt. Higher Primary School, Muturayanagar, Bangalore. • Distribution of 72 Notebooks to Govt. Primary School, Kariyanapalya Bangalore.

  23. VISIONFOR THE LORE TREE INITIATIVE The Goal for the Next 5 Years ( 2017 to 2022) : – To provide at least 50,000 rebound notebooks to 25,000 children. – Create awareness amongst children about the importance of paper and environment.

  24. CAUSE PARTNERSFor The Lore Tree Initiative & Project Oriana Cause & NGO Partners for R.V College of Engineering’s Utasrga Marathon Conducted on 12th November 2017, Sunday. The Marathon aimed at creating an awareness at educating girl children.

  25. WHAT NEXT ? • Our Next Project : Project Oriana ( Means Sunrise ) – This project aims at educating girl children. Launch Date : January 2018.

PROCESS • Identification of 3 Girls Children from 10th, 12th & Degree Respectively ( Total of 9 Girl Children ). • One Girl With High Academics, One Girl With Co-Curricular Activities & One Girl Who is an All Rounder. • Sponsoring 70% of Fees For 10th, 60% of Fees For 12th & 50% of Fees For Degree. • Fortnightly Counseling. • Monthly Tracking of the progress. • Providing Notebooks, Pens & Pencils for their Education.

  27. Fund Raising For Project Oriana • Collecting Old News papers & Old Notebooks from PU, Degree, Engineering and Prost Graduate Colleges Across Mysore & Bangalore. • Selling The Collected Newspapers & Notebooks to raise funds for Project Oriana.
