Bidri metal handicraft products depict the rich history of the Bidar city and the name ‘Bidriware‘ originates from there only. Wherein, The term Bidriware took birth under the rule of Ahmed Shah and his son Second Alauddin Bahmani, the origin of Bidriware is attributed to Abdullah bin Kaiser, a craftsman from Iran and the local artisans of Bidar. They joined hands with one another and invented Bidriware, which was later handed over to generations as time grew. The unique metalware and amazing inlay artwork are still the chief centre of attraction of Bidar.
