  2. Its not FREE !! • Though people download music since it can be obtained for free, it is still illegal and wrong. • Because • Artists consider music as their products, so it is only fair to say that downloading music illegally is stealing.

  3. It may not be worth it !! • It is possible one day you may get caught downloading music illegally • Example • Jammie Thomas • Jurors ordered Jammie to pay $9,250 for each of the 24 songs which was focused on in the case (2007). • Case was thrown out due to the error on the judge’s part and she was re-tried. • Thomas now owes $80,000 for each of the 24 songs, which totals to $1.92 million.

  4. It may not be worth it !! • Joel Tenenbaum • Graduate student (25 years old) • Sued for downloading music over the internet • Has to pay $22,500 for each of the 30 songs which were illegally downloaded
