Randy Butler - Background • 1st Professional project – helped develop and eventually support a Geographic Information Service for the 5 Illinois State Surveys in the mid 80’s. • Joined NCSA in 1987 and worked briefly as part of the visualization group • Since that time I have led and created a number of NCSA teams including; • Network production • Network Research • Security Production • Security Research • Grid Research National Center for Supercomputing Applications
