Well this story is taken place in the jungle .Well lets get to the story then ok.Wellthere was this man that when to the rainforest and tried to cut down this kapok tree. Well when he was cuting down the tree with the AX he was so tired that he desited to take a nap so he did. When he Did anamalssonded him. Is he going to cut down the tree?

  3. Text-To-Text Connection I made a connection with the books The GreatKapok Tree and the book Our Tree named Steve . My first connection is that the animalscared about the kapok tree and the kids cared about the tree in their yard. My second connection is that the treewas used as many things. Well you know in the book Our Tree Named Steve it was used for a tire swing, jump rope, and a shade place. So was The Great Kapok Tree. It was used as a home to animals.

And in The Great KopokTreethere was lots of ponlen on it . I think it was agreat thing that it was a home. It was a home for many many animals. It was a home for a bird and a bee. There was two beehives there was lots of ponlenon it . I think it was a great thing to be a home.

They are inportant because they offer homes to trees other plants animals and local people . But they also play a big role in keeping the Eath’sclimmate and our weather as we we know it.
