Summary of Premier’s Internal Disaster Team Response to Katrina Led by a Group VP, the Premier Disaster Response team will: • Identify immediate needs of Premier owners in impacted areas • Leverage supplier and distributor relationships to get supplies and equipment to Owners • Assess long-term implications impacting supplier production, distribution and ongoing health/disease concerns Process Flow • Group VP convenes Disaster Response Team by phone • Regional Director (RD) works with contacts at impacted hospitals to prioritize supply and equipment needs • Team strategizes ways to meet hospital needs, leveraging all available supplier and distributor resources • Team continues in disaster relief mode until affected owners are able to resume quasi-normal operations. Team monitors flow of casualties to other provider sites and arranges necessary supplies and equipment at the receiving sites
