CSNav Milestone-Apply to College. Have students log in to their CSNav account at: csnav.org , then click on the “Your Portfolio” icon. Next click on College Planning Portfolio. When the new screen appears, have them click on Post Secondary Plans.

Have students log in to their CSNav account at: csnav.org , then click on the “Your Portfolio” icon.
When the new screen appears, have them click on Post Secondary Plans.
Next scroll down to the “College Applications & Recruiting” section, then locate the link to “Add a self-reported application”
After clicking on the link the students will be directed to choose a college from their list of saved schools or enter a key word to search for a college.
To choose from a list of saved schools, click on arrow and highlight a college and click on it. Then click continue.
Be sure to click save Enter the month day and year the application was submitted Be sure to click save. Then repeat the steps for each college additional application.
If students apply to a college that is not in their list of saved schools they can still enter the information in CSNav. From this page students should enter the name of a college or a key word then click on search.
The college should appear on the page where students enter the date of the application. If the college doesn’t appear then enter more details. (Example, University of Tennessee, Memphis)
Be sure to click save Enter the month day and year the application was submitted. Be sure to click save. Then repeat the steps for each college additional application.
To check for completion of this milestone, have students click the Home icon at the top of the page. Then click “View Your Planning Milestones”. They will see a number based on how many applications were entered.
