Step 3: Drape chains over tire one side higher than the other.
Step 5: Connect front hook to final ring Step 6: Pull on tension chain
Step 7: Pull down single link between two taped links. You should be able to reach this one for initial tension. After driving you may be able to connect to the next link or two.
Step 8: Connect tension cam through single link. Keep extra chain away from cam.
Step 9: Lock tension cam with big ring, notice the flat spot.
Step 11: Attach tension spring clip back across to tension chain.
Final inspection: Chains should be tight. To tighten more unclip spring and cam. Try to put cam through link further up the chain. Repeat steps to clip spring.
THINGS TO REMEMBER #1. MAX SPEED = 35 MPH! Easy Acceleration #2. NEVER DRIVE ON BROKEN CHAINS! #3. Driver should check chains every time you stop. #4. Bring spare chain and blocks for emergency swap out. #5. Consider running on cables in light snow conditions
