  2. Analyze Learners • Adult learners enrolled in MEDT 7462 • No documented disabilities

  3. State Objectives The MEDT 7462 students will create a set of flash cards using a 5-step process related to the subject area of their choice using www.quizlet.com with 100% accuracy.

  4. Materials • A computer with internet access • LCD projector • Power Point presentation • Teacher handout

  5. Utilize Media and Materials • The teacher will direct students to access www.quizlet.com using the computer. A handout will be presented to students which illustrates the 5-step process for creating the flashcards while the teacher presents the same information on a Power Point presentation.

  6. Require Learner Participation • Create flash cards • Share cards with peers for feedback

  7. Five-Step Process Step 1 Go to Quizlet.com and sign up for an account if you do not already have one. Log in if you already have an account. Step 2 Click on the “Make Flashcards” link on the top of the page.

  8. Five-Step Process Step 3 Select a title for your new set and a subject. Assigning your set a subject will group it with other sets in the same category into subject folders. Step 4 Determine if you want everyone or only certain groups to have access to the set. Choose who can edit the set. Step 5 Add terms and definitions manually or use the auto-define feature which offers suggestions.

  9. Evaluate and Revise • Students evaluated by teacher and peer observation • Group discussions monitored by teacher • Assistance and recommendations provided by teacher

  10. Additional Features of Quizlet • Study by using the “Learn” and “Test” tabs • Play games using the “Scatter” and “Space Race” tabs • Voice recognition features
