  2. ZOOM : Interface Marian - PDS Marian-PDS interfaces : • 1- Transfer: Marian to PDS. • 2- Transfer: PDS to Marian.

  3. Transfer: Marian to PDS. Status of the interface: Presently (for piping): PCD, SDD, SDL, SMDL files and code list are transferred from Marian to PDS. In future (for piping): Weight information, Physical dimension, Implied Table, Assembly… For other disciplines: Explore the possibility to transfer: the Design conditions from line list … the instrumentation specs…

  4. Transfer: PDS to Marian. PDS create : • Bills of material (b.files) which are loaded into Marian (and « checked » by Marian ). • Isometric fabrication drawings (dimensioned, and annoted with material take off information: ident codes, descriptions , quantities , Fab. Cat. codes… ).

  5. Marian–PDS : Mapping tables The commodity code used in Marian contains information/attributs like : Component type , material, End preparation, Rating … etc … These attributs in Marian are mapped to a equivalent PDS code.
