What is an EMS? • Segment of an organization's overall management structure that addresses the immediate and long-term impact of its products, services and processes on the environment. • A system that provides order and consistency to address environmental concerns by allocating resources, assigning responsibilities & evaluating the effectiveness of procedures, practices and processes.
