  1. CDIMIAMI Center For Diagnostic Imaging Miami How to Reduce Pain during Routine Mammogram? What Is A Mammogram? In simple words, it means a process in which an X-ray film of the breast’s soft tissue is taken. It happens to be an X-ray of the breasts that is conducted to check whether you suffer from any problem in your breast tissue, such as a cancerous growth. Mammograms can help save your life, but to some women these may also be somewhat painful – thus discouraging other women from going for this process. Here are some tips that can make your Routine 3d Mammogram much less painful. Try to undergo this Miami Breast process when your breast is not that much in a state of engorgement. For the majority of women, this means the 2 weeks from the time menstruation comes to a finish - although the time span tends to differ from one individual to another. Other women can find the period between the 18th and 22nd day after the start of menstruation to be more suitable for them. For a week leading up to the test, have as small amount of salt as you can. In most women, it will help reduce the extent of engorgement of the breast. This will also reduce the pain that is related to the compression that is needed for the test. It is a good idea to have Vitamin E (400 international units) for a period of 3 weeks prior to the test. It is not known why this is effective. But this works often enough to deserve a try. Take basic pain-relieving medications You can also take simple pain- alleviating medicines like diclofenac, aspirin and paracetamol an hour prior to the Mammogram Miami test, provided you do not suffer from an allergy to the same. You need to take these after you have foods. Media Contact: Center for Diagnostic Imaging 1380 NE Miami Gardens Drive, Suite 105 North Miami Beach, FL 33179 Phone: (305) 944.3132 WWW.CDIMIAMI.COM
