  9. I am… I am the rain on a perfect day, slowly falling and running down my winter. I am a moose running through the woods, careless, free, and fast. I am confused and fearless, a follower and believer. I am a KFC addict. I am my parents’ kindness, coming back from work. I am the thunder which clashes over head as rain falls steadily.

  10. I am… I am bright and bold, like yellow socks with pink pants. I am the controller to my console. I am a raindrop in a thunderstorm. I am water flowing down a river. I am money, I buy my happiness.

  13. Shane Koyczan: Canadian Slam Poet On Friday, we looked at the first stanza of “The Crickets Have Arthritis.” If we have enough time at the end of class, we will watch and listen to him perform the rest of this poem. But first, we are going to pick apart his poem “We are More.”
