  1. Facts about the four regions of the US How they are separated, facts about them, etc. Try to think what it would be like if you were in their shoes…

  2. The Northeast Region This place is rocky, sandy, and has rivers. It runs into the Atlantic Ocean It has Mount Washington the highest mountain in the Northeast, and has the fasted recorded wind for a mountain. It has the Mississippi River, Nigeria Falls, and Finger Lakes. The rainfall varies from fifty inches to thirty-two inches in areas. That’s a lot of rain. They can get up to one hundred inches of snow! WOW! Some areas have a summer humid continental climate. That sounds warm… Their weathers get the way they are supposed to. For example, say it’s snowing, it gets bitterly cold. The Census Bureau classifies part of the Southern United States. They had extensive slavery. Because of changing agricultural needs, Delaware freed most of its slaves.

  3. The Midwest Region This part is on the Eastern part of the US. That’s a little odd, but it is not seen that way. It includes all of twelve states. It has a population of about 66,217,736 people. WOW!!! Chicago is the largest city. Michigan is the oldest city in the region, and was found in 1668. Some were part of the Great Plains, but are now with the Midwest. The Midwestern region is one of the regions within the USA. The term Midwest has been in use for more than 100 years. Holy Cow!!! You have to understand American history to know what Midwest means.

  4. The South Region  The south has lots of nicknames. They still have persistent poverty. It includes sixteen states. Thirty-six percent of all United States people lived in the South once. They have numerous climate zones. It is mostly hot and humid. It has long summers, and short cold winters. Crops are easy to grow. The first human evidence was around 9500 BC .

  5. The West Region The West… Think back to yester year, around the time when there were cowboys riding round’. You hear the pounding of hooves, your heart racing to the clop, clop of the horses hooves.. You’re riding your horse Twilight. You feel the rush of the wind in your face. What would you do if you were in their shoes? The West was important, it is the largest region. It has evolved over time. It can be divided into the pacific states. Some are with the Eastern states also. The West has many different colors. Such as African Americans, Mexicans, etc. This state has thirteen states. In conclusion, our regions are special.
