How many dozen ears can the farm stand sell? • How many dozen ears of corn are in 509? 509 ears of corn dozen = 12 Operation - Division 1 Step 509 ears/12 ears per dozen = 42 dozen with 5 ears remaining 42 dozens x 12 = 504 R 5

  4. One pound of carrots makes 6 ounces of juice. The stand owner squeezes 34 pounds of carrots to sell in 8 ounces glasses. By the afternoon, the farm has sold all the glasses.
